Brought To You By Drugs ("the App") is an educational harm reduction app developed by Traditionally Different Technology LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your information.

The Short Version

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Everything stays on your device.

Data Collection

The App does not collect:

Personal information (name, email, phone number)
Location data
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Device identifiers or fingerprints
Browsing or search history
Health or medical data

Local Data Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

Trip journal entries - Your private reflections
Works cited / citations - Research references you save
Bookmarks - Compounds, studies, and resources you favorite
App preferences - Settings like onboarding completion status

This data is never transmitted to any server, third party, or external service. It exists only on your device and is removed when you delete the App.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use:

Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
Advertising networks
Social media SDKs
Crash reporting services (beyond Apple TestFlight crash reports during beta)

The App may optionally connect to PubChem (National Institutes of Health) to retrieve molecular structure data. These requests contain only the compound name - no personal information is transmitted.

No Accounts

The App does not require or support user accounts. There is no login, registration, or authentication.

No Tracking

The App does not use cookies, tracking pixels, device fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 17+ and is not intended for use by children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally, you can delete all App data by deleting the App from your device. No server-side data exists to request deletion of.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
